ABSEIL from a 25-metre cliff on the Gorge road at Beechworth. (We also have a 10 metre introductory cliff for the nervous) The cliffs are only a short distance from the Town and have excellent views of the woolshed valley and the Granite ranges of Mt Pilot
The Site Located on the gorge road the cliffs are just past the Bailey bridge over spring creek. Beechworth built the gorge road with prize moneys won during the 1930’s best tourist town awards.
The Adventure We drive in convoy from Beechworth to the abseil site then after rigging up and having a safety brief we walk to the top of the cliffs to start the first abseil. You can then abseil as many times as you like in the time block.

You Need Your own vehicle (The sites are about 3 Km from Beechworth) some water and comfortable rubber soled shoes or boots.
